Beyond Blondie

I almost didn't watch this video, but I'm sure glad I did. Debbie Harry talks about working with Rob Roth to create the background visuals for Blondie's recent tour with Devo -- a show I didn't even bother to see -- and the outcome was incredible. 

Roth, who impressed Debbie with his David Bowie "Life on Mars" installation, had full access to everything the band has ever done, and merged old photos, music videos and even rare Super 8 mm footage filmed by Chris Stein -- including Debbie driving down an L.A. freeway singing along to "One Way or Another" on the radio(!) -- with original material to create the perfect mood.
