Good riddance, 8-tracks. Horrible sound combined with the fact that most albums had the running order of the songs changed to fit the 4 different tracks or even worse, if you were in to prog rock like me, the long songs would fade out in the middle > change track > fade back in.
The CD couldn't have come soon enough.
The museum should also illustrate the use of an empty matchbook shoved into the player above the cassette tape to keep it front dragging or bouncing around.
