Outbreak of 2 Types of Meningitis

Having lost one of my best friends, Larry Brickman, to bacterial meningitis nearly seven years ago, this current outbreak is bringing back many bad memories. Larry was neither HIV-positive nor using contaminated preservative-free methylprednisolone acetate, but I urge everyone to read up and see a doctor at the first sign of symptoms. If he had had even the slightest hint that his "flu" was something else, this whole nightmare might have been avoided.

NOTE: The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene recommends meningococcal vaccination for the following persons listed HERE.

it seems a number of them, not sure of the ones in NYC, are caused by a fungus that is in a tainted cortisone medication/treatment that people recently received;

and people absolutely need to be careful.

on another 'flu & cold' like clueless infection men are not aware of, i just found out that i've had a bacterial prostate infection and all the major symptoms are cold & flu like; when it becomes acute, which can take up to 3 moths, are severe back pain and testicular pain. most men are never aware they have it.

so, it takes personal awareness on a lot of things to be healthy...
