New DNA Match in the Oakland County Child Killer Case

A DNA match brings new hope to solving the case of the Oakland County Child Killer, who haunted my elementary-school years in suburban Detroit in the mid-1970s. Watch this well-produced video that accompanies the update HERE.

Saw the article about this on CNN.com this morning, and immediately remembered what you'd written about this. Came here to make sure you didn't miss it.

Another case where a good suspect was overlooked because of erroneous polygraph evidence. Remember the Green River Killer? Yep, passed a polygraph.

This case will haunt me until the day I die, because I was there and thought I had a connection to it at one time. Another scary scenario is the comments left by the readers of this Detroit Free Press article. They are using this story and forum to post their same old tired "Detroit" agendas: blacks vs. whites, gays vs. straights, Detroit vs. suburbs, Democrats vs. Republicans, etc. Detroit and the cities surrounding it are hopelessly doomed because of the current narrow-minded and non-evolving residents.
