To Catch a Predator

Police are looking to question this man seen in surveillance photos in connection with the grisly murder of floral designer John Laubach, who was found bound and gagged in his Chelsea bedroom on Saturday. Police say the young man unsuccessfully attempted to use the dead man's ATM card twice -- once at an automated teller machine, and once at a diner in the Bronx.

Sources tell The New York Post that Laubach, who often carried his white Cockatoo “Bolo” on his shoulder, "may have met his killer or killers in a Chelsea sex shop that sold porn videos and erotic toys. The ill-fated florist may have entered into a 'financial relationship' with the young men and they would visit his apartment, the source said." Another source says he used to hire escorts off of RentBoy.com. Whatever the case may be, let's get this heartless predator off the streets.

If you have any information about this case, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

I hate this story. So many commenters around the Web making snarky observations about prostitution and implying, "What did he expect?" Not to be murdered.

This was murder - that's all that needs to be solved.
Who are any of the 'holier-than-thou' detractors to comment on this man's private life?!
HYPOCRITES!!
Find the killer/s and throw them in the East River tied to a concrete block!!!
