I sincerely appreciate my fellow LGBT-ers for their tireless efforts to expose and boycott companies that practice discriminatory business practices. But I'd be lying if I didn't admit that sometimes I'm willing to overlook a little homophobia for some good chicken or biscuits and gravy. I am one of those that has a hard time supporting a business that is so anti-gay.
I had a friend in back in Ohio the would not step foot in a Wal Mart because he said they were so anti-gay, yet was at Meijer at least week. He about died when I told him that Meijer was more anti-gay, consistently scoring a 0 on the HRC Corporate Equality Index Score. When I go back to Michigan, I won;t let my mom go to Meijer while I am there, and will do any shopping to make sure it does not happen.
So step it up, you can get a chicken sandwich at Wendys
Dude, eat Popeye's. It's way better.
