If you haven't read Dafna Linzer and Jennifer LaFleur's disturbing report about how white criminals seeking presidential pardons over the past decade were nearly four times as likely to succeed as minorities, then I suggest you have a look HERE. (Shocker: blacks had the lowest chance of receiving the ultimate act of mercy.) It pisses me off when people try to insist we live in a "post-racial" or "post-gay" society just because they don't witness discriminatory acts firsthand -- which they also don't seem to understand aren't always someone calling someone the N-word or the F-word to their face.
