Mariah Carey Shows the World Her Other Twins

The most famous person in the world that no one cares about anymore, Mariah Carey, and hubby Nick Cannon sat down with Barbara Walters to tell the world about their spawn -- Roc and Roe -- the other night on "20/20." And needless to say, it was all about Mariah -- who whined endlessly to Barbara about her pregnancy -- which "was unique to her"(!) -- and left her "miserable" while assuring the world that she's not whining. (Don't even bring up the C-section -- yuck!) The twins came into the world to the live version of "Fantasy"(!): "The only reason I wanted the live version because I wanted them to hear the APPLAUSE," Mariah explains to Barbara, who looks quasi-appalled and responds, "YOUR song?" The best part, however, is when Mariah repeatedly GLARES at Nick when he tells Barbara that he would like the kids to do something more important than show business -- "There's something MORE important? her eyes clearly scream -- and how society puts entertainers too high on pedestals. (Mariah looks at him like he's just crapped on the floor in front of Barbara Walters!) When he suggests education was more important and that teachers and doctors should be America's real heroes, Mariah's heard about enough, then tries to explain how it's an either-or-proposition (entertainment or education, which is clearly the case) and that the kids are already totally into music anyway, so there. They're 6 months. Watch HERE.

I just pre-ordered both kids' tell-all memoirs on Amazon.com.

I'm new to your blog. I have enjoyed it thus far but obviously I found your mischaracterization of the Mariah Carey interview off putting. I love Mariah! I always will. You can hate her but at least be honest about stuff as it relates to her. I think she values education but her narrative has always been one where she explained that she was not great at school but she always knew that music was her calling. Her pov is rooted in her personal experience! Also, she praised all women who endure pregnancy.
