Nobody Is Gonna Rain on Our Parade

Spent a little time at the big New York City Gay Pride Parade yesterday with my friends Craig and Frank, before hunting high and low for a place to have a drink (naturally everyone downtown was a zoo). Made our way up to the Eagle, where we met up with Michael and his posse. I must say I was still beat from celebrating all night on Friday -- rebounding isn't what it used to be, something I think Serena Williams will attest to -- but it was great to see everyone extra happy this year. (Now if we can just keep the Mormon church from ruining everything for us.) The Homos for Cuomo signs were my favorite -- another big indication that It Gets Better -- a far cry for the Vote for Cuomo, Not the Homo signs supporters of his father made in their unsuccessful campaign against Ed Koch in the 1977 New York mayoral election. Please don't. Isn't that how we lost our last "savior"?

Stand and (he'll) deliver

Homos for Cuomo!

Indeed!

Boxers or briefs?

The only good thing about this musical was the bus -- couldn't they bring it?

Lynda Carter was at the parade, but I'm pretty sure this isn't her
