America: Crazy With a Bullet

Well, America may be slipping behind the world in a lot of categories -- math scores, science scores, life expectancy, infant mortality -- but it seems we're quickly rising to the top when it comes to bat-shit crazy. Gabby Giffords, was a Department of Homeland Security ruse, going so far as to harass shooting victims AT THEIR HOMES. I'd like to think this is an isolated event, but when one of my own childhood friends still tries to tell me my friend David -- whose funeral I attended -- didn't actually die on Flight 77 on Sept. 11, and the majority of registered Republican voters still thinks Obama was born in Kenya, you know we're completely fucked.
