Look at one thing that is not similar between the two photos.....the uniforms. How ridiculous do the current uniforms look? Why do they need to look like knee-length gauchos or skirts with enough extra fabric for a tablecloth? Can athletes get back to short, fitted uniforms so that we can appreciate their bodies?
Great photo unless you went to Gonzaga as I did - then it's just one more painful memory.
As long as those long shorts are associated with "urban" culture, it'll never change. That's the full-time media agenda these days.
