OWN Up to It?

I haven't had a chance to check out the Oprah Winfrey Network, but I have to say that I can't think of a better home for Rosie O'Donnell to have a talk show. Her own daytime network show was too constricting. "The View" was too annoying -- and not under her creative control. And who has XM/Sirius satellite radio? I "get" Rosie's affection for Oprah, even if mine is more tempered -- past hairstyles notwithstanding -- so I'm really hoping this is the beginning of a longtime television love affair.

My gals were at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend to talk up the show and "Becoming Chaz," the documentary about Cher's daughter's transition from female to male, which OWN recently bought the rights to.

Chaz, along with girlfriend Jennifer Elia, was also in Park City. I'm thrilled that he has been able to come to terms with his true identity. However, after hearing about his incredibly unhealthy stats on "Celebrity Fit Club" a few years ago, I remain scared for his long-term prospects. Fat jokes aside, I realize overeating is a symptom of bigger emotional problems. Here's hoping he can get his body in line with his healthier state of mind.
