Stumbled upon this incredible new television station the other night called The Hub. While the rest of the world is watching their IQ dwindle before their very eyes courtesy of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "Jersey Shore," I've been in a nostalgia-induced ecstasy, with the network's TV Land-when-it-used-to-be-good lineup, consisting of "Happy Days" (more about that TK), "Batman," "Family Ties" and "Laverne & Shirley." My childhood obsession with these Milwaukee roommates is somewhat inexplicable to me now -- was it that basement apartment that I envied so, or the assemblyline work at Shotz brewery? I just don't know. But one thing that hasn't changed is my love for the opening theme song, "Making Our Dreams Come True," which as a child I thought was sung by Cindy Williams, but later I realized was actually Cyndi Grecco when I found a 45 of it in a used record store. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 -- Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!"

One of my all-time favorites, maybe tied with "Bewitched." I even liked the solo season, "Laverne & Furniture."
