Even if I hadn't recently become a fauxionists, this article in the September issue of GQ ("A Guide to Slim-Fitting Style") would have been a must-read. Likely most guys, I was at a loss as to why my dress shirts had enough extra fabric to set sail as soon as they were tucked in. Fortunately my stylist friend -- and now Gentlemen's Quarterly -- turned me on to slim-fit shirts, which accentuate my body and always look great. Sure, the men's mag already did the exact same story a couple years ago -- and
Chad White, above, was even hotter than the men pictured below -- but it's always good to spread the gospel of proper-fitting shirts. While Brooks Brothers have the perfect slim-fit dress shirt, I find Uniqlo is a cost-effective alternative that looks just about as good. (Who's the
fashionista now, Tony?) I only hope the guy on the street who discovered my recent "donation" of 10 dry-cleaned balloon shirts is enjoying looking totally out of style!
