Take Me Out

Michael and I, along with pals Frank and Craig, all made our first journey out to CitiField, the New York Mets' new stadium. The park is absolutely beautiful -- complete with endless food selections, a team museum and waterless urinals (huh?) -- and even an hourlong rain delay couldn't get in the way of a great evening, which was made even better by the kickass tickets directly behind David Wright's ass, courtesy of my friend Leah. (Thanks, LZ!!!!!)

That three out of four of us are from Michigan made the Mets vs. Tigers match-up extra fun -- and only opened the door for us to continue talking about Faygo, Red Pop and Vernors -- even if Mikey and New York had the last laugh, winning 14-6. (I'd never seen a game with that many home runs in my life -- and since I'm a New Yorker now, it was OK with me!)
