B(day) Bar

The crowd was anything but beige

Back in the day, the weekly Tuesday party at BBar -- better known as Beige -- was a mustn't-miss event on my calendar. (We all used to get excited when we would see "Gloria Vanderbilt's son" there all the time.) So when Michael suggested we go to Beige for drinks on my birthday this week, I immediately said yes. Was happy and somewhat surprised to see that even after all these years, it's still The Place to go. With its multiple bars and huge garden area, I guess I shouldn't be surprised it's lasted this long. While New York nightlife is notoriously fickle, there isn't a New Yorker alive who can resist "outdoor space." Ran into a number of friends and had a great, low-key birthday, just what I was hoping for!

My lover looks like a demon! (Again, we had an awesome time. I had the headache to prove it.)
