Page 1 Consider (03/17)

  • Boyish Scout: Once a man of mystery, Nick Carr -- the guy behind the fab blog Scouting New York -- is taking questions this week in The New York Times! I'm pretty sure we'd be best friends by now if not for the fact that he's never even seen "Desperately Seeking Susan"! (City Room)

  • Leading Ladies?: Celluloid wolverine Nathaniel Frank gives us a rundown on the 10 actresses he's most excited to watch in this next decade of film, complete with "trouble spots" and "what we'd love to see" breakdowns. (FilmExperience)

  • Victim and Volunteer: My faith in humanity has been ever-so-slightly restored by the news that the voters of New York did not elect convicted woman beater Hiram Monserrate back into the state Senate -- despite his beaten girlfriend's campaigning on his behalf. (Daily Intel)

  • Recession Eats: In a city where a meal can cost what many people make in a week, the dollar pizza craze has taken off. I haven't dared to try, but Michael and my friend Jesse say it's "fine." (NYT)

  • It's Not Easy Being Green: Gay rights leaders in Dublin are ripping the organizers of New York's famous St. Patrick's Day Parade, calling it "un-Irish" to refuse to allow LGBT marchers to participate. That's great to hear, although I'm not sure how accurate it is as I would hardly recommend getting drunk in your typical pub in Dublin and the making out with your boyfriend anytime soon. (Ireland Online)

  • Death by Retail: When killer club kid Michael Alig gets out of prison soon he is not going to like what they've done to the Limelight. (Let's just hope this new "mall" has adequate bathrooms now that he's shitting his pants 24 hours a day.) (NYT)

  • Academy of the Holy Ambivalence: The lesbian couple in Colorado whose children were barred from Catholic school are speaking out. I'm rooting for them, but can't help but ask them this question: wouldn't you rather give your hard-earned money to a progressive school that doesn't teach hatred? (9News)

  • Book Ends: Friend of the (212) Dylan Rosser has a new book. Learn all about "100 Men of TheMaleForm.net" HERE.

  • Outrage 2.0: If Kirby Dick's documentary on closeted anti-gay politicians wasn't enough for you, be sure to check out a new site that ranks the Top 10 Anti-Gay Activists Caught Being Gay. You won't believe what who Alabama Attorney General Troy King got caught doing by his wife. See the complete list HERE.

  • Urban Project: Michael picked Tim Urban to win "American Idol" in his sister's office pool. I still don't follow it, but for a youngster this bod certainly hits all the right notes with me. (Pop Wrap)

this kids not only got a hot bod, but a really cute smile and a sweetness you can't beat...he's the epitome of "eye candy"...he may not have the best pipes, but as long as he's on Idol, I'm watching...

Poor Michael is going to lose his pool this year. Even Ellen thinks the kid should become an "actor" and stay away from the music industry.

Nice pecs and abs, but if you are a height-phile (as I am), you'll be disappointed to know he's shorter than even Seacrest.
