UPDATE: It was quite good. Had the Bleu-cheese burger (of course) and fries. Scooter had something really messy with an English muffin top. He's not sure why he ordered it -- Marcia was really intimidating at first, but then turned out to be a sweety. The bathroom walls were even better (this "San Diego fat ass" sounds like a real piece of work.) Picked up Patti Smith's memoir at the Strand afterward. God, I need a really long plane ride somewhere (like Hong Kong) so I can read in peace. ...

oooh... Paul's IS pretty good.
Also, interesting you mentioned HK, just landed a few days ago. It WAS a long flight and the gay scene here is surprising better and more diverse than I gave credit for.
