Like many a gay boy I know, I had a HUGE schoolgirl crush on Patrick Swayze when "Dirty Dancing" came out. Years later I wondered what I was thinking, but that was nothing against him. More recently, I admired his brave fight against cancer and how he worked through it all, and like anyone with a heart, was sad to hear he had died on Monday. May he rest in peace.
