UPDATE: Good news/bad news. The good news is I think we've finally figured out why I've still been in pain following my root canal earlier in the summer. The bad news was it was because the tooth next to it needed a root canal too -- my teeth have been perfect my whole life and then I turned 40, WTF??? -- and the procedure was every bit as harrowing at the first one. (I'll spare you the details, but it hurt A LOT.) It's only been a few hours, though, and I'm back to eating/drinking with no discomfort. I think I'm on the road to recovery, whether beebob cares or not ...

After you get your root canal done be sure you don't wait to get the crown on or you will be having the root canal re-done. Good Luck

Kenneth, I, for one, am VERY concerned with your root canal and aching back! i like to know that the man writing the blog I read everyday is in good health and the comments he's making aren't just him reacting to pain. I've had awful toothaches and other maladies that I couldn't get taken care of right away and they nearly drove me to murder. I was so beside myself and surprised by my beastly actions, that I actually stopped to think, "What if Hitler was really an okay guy with a really bad toothache?"
I can't believe some people.
