Paul McCartney at Fenway Park

In my Inbox this morning from a friend in Beantown:

So I saw my first stadium show last night --Paul McCartney at Fenway Park. What can i say ... it was superb. I don't identify as a baby boomer, whether i am technically one or not, but I love the Beatles and was overjoyed to hear a Beatle sing his songs. His solo stuff was decent, and Wings ... well, that was the 70s, so hearing Band on the Run took me back to my schooldays and gave me shivers. Paul might look like an old lesbian, but you look at those eyes and can see the cute moptop shaking his head all those years ago. What a happy time. And having MGMT open was brilliant. Excellent choice, now i hope to see them play a much much smaller venue.

Hard to believe that was his first stadium show given his approximate boomer status.
