Spanish Fly

What a bummer of a weekend in the desert. First Roger Federer lost for the fourth time in a row to Andy Murray (6-1 in the third). And then Rafael Nadal destroyed the rising Scot, 1 and 2, to claim his second Indian Wells title in three years. If I didn't know better I'd have thought I was watching women's tennis. Is this what we have to look forward to in '09?

Is your issue with Nadal winning or the trouncing that first Roger then Andy took in their games? I have to say I think Nadal was playing brilliantly, especially during the conditions he had to play in for the final. And Roger didn't get beat too handily by Andy, although it definitely was Andy winning it and not Roger loosing it, if you know what I mean. Although the final was a bit boring to watch, I thought the two semifinals were pretty darn good tennis.

Yeah, I think it has mostly to do with Nadal's winning so much. He still hasn't won me over ...

Did it also bother you when Federer was winning all the time?
