It is weird & it is creepy... but I feel strongly that it wrong to keep wild animals as pets (or intimates). People should NOT have lions, tigers, wolves, bears, boa constrictors, alligators etc... as their pets. I will own up to sleeping with my Jack Russell terriers & I have upset friends by kissing them on the lips, after all, they could go berserk!
My thought is that the monkey was jealous/pissed off at the women he attacked. She was probably telling the owner that this entire situation was getting "weird" and the monkey went "ape"...
