Our Long National Nightmare Is Over

Barack Hussein Obama FINALLY became the 44th president of the United States Tuesday. Thought it was so cute the way an overexcited Obama jumped the gun in reciting his opening line of the oath of office before Chief Justice John Roberts could finish feeding it to him, and then Roberts lost his rhythm and flubbed it even more! Let freedom ring, let freedom ring ...

I hope I never have to see W ever again!

Actually, Roberts flubbed the oath—he transposed words and Obama, Constitutional scholar that he is, knew that and hesitated. Robert apparently later acknowledged his goof, though I'm sure wingnuts will try to say this means Obama isn't really prez!

Just a small correction: it was Chief Justice Roberts who fumbled the oath; Roberts misspoke: ... I shall (sic, missed the word "faithfuly") execute the office of President of the United Stated (sic) faithfully....

Nerves got to Roberts; but not cool cucumber President Obama (OMFG the longest national nightmare is finally over).

Wrong, boys. I'm referring to Obama's flub -- which was FIRST and seemed to throw off the whole thing.

Like an excited little boy he jumped the gun and started to say "I, Barack Hussein Obama" before Roberts finished feeding him his line, which was "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear ..."

Loved it -- and who could blame him? He's been waiting what feels like ANOTHER two years to be sworn in since Election Day.

Thank god Scooter Libby wasn't pardoned. Gee, thank you, Mr. Bush for not further protecting underlings who worked to protect you from prosecution for your criminal activities.

unrelated - just noticed that my browser stopped getting to your blog if I didn't have the www. in front.

I think there is something called the "MX record" wherever your URL is hosted that tells the DNS your information.

So wherever you tell your host where your blog lives, there should be two places, both with and without the the www.
