Just for the record, I never loved Tom Cruise. He's homophobic, meglomaniacal and a major douchebag.
I never loved Tom Cruise. Never hated him, though. I just don't really think about him. But I am interested to hear the reviews of "Valkyrie". A fascinating story, and Von Stauffenberg was a fascinating (and hot) character. And it's directed by our "homeboy" Bryan Singer, who did such a good job with "Apt Pupil."
I agree with Brent...besides that, Cruise is a terrible actor. You can see no development for the last 20+ years. One can actually see him act! Script states: "Character Laughs" Tom goes HA Ha HA. Lord he is painful to watch, even his good looks can't save him from his worst attribute.....an actor that can not act. He is celebrity at its defifinition.
