What would be the point of living another year if not for my annual chain-restaurant birthday dinner with my pal Jay. (Although I ate so much deee-lish Spinach Artichoke Dip that I barely touched my main course.) As always, it was a riot revisiting our suburban roots and catching up on all of our latest ridiculous antics. Thank you, Jay, for a great night! (We've already got our eye on Outback Steakhouse for Jay's b-day in December ...)

I finally made Ben try food at Outback Steakhouse. He wasn't brave enough to actually go into the restaurant but we got takeout while visiting my parents. He ate his steak and said "I have to say, that's a blood good steak." I nearly pissed by pants. He refused to get any "Aussie-tizers", though, finding the reference insulting.
