Blogger Tete-a-Tete

Bloggers (No Longer) Anonymous: Cooper, Brechi, nonblogger outcast Marcel, Kenneth and Billy (l-r)

One of the unexpected benefits of blogging for me has been that I've ended up meeting so many people -- real people -- as a result of it. I guess longtime bloggers knew this could happen, but I always think of the alone-at-the-computer-at-3-a.m. part of blogging, not any kind of real-life socializing. I got the ball rolling last week when I organized the Gay Wolverines Club. This time around, Brechi, of Brechi Reborn fame, kindly invited me to his latest Blogger Boy Happy Hour on Friday -- which included his boyfriend Cooper, Chris, Billy, Mike, David, Eric, Matt and Christopher (and others!) -- and they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. I had a fun time and I wanna tell everyone thanks so much for including me!

Cooper puts the meat in a Brechi and Kenneth sandwich (yes, my head really is that HUGE)

How can a nice guy like you be a Wolverine? It would be a lot more fun and better looking to have a Spartan Club !

Two things:

1. Your head isn't huge.

2. Every blogger I meet is incredibly tall and makes me feel like a hobbit.
