  • Brady Bunch: First Matt Leinart's ex mysteriously becomes pregnant "after" they break up, and now comes word that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is about to become a father by way of his ex, the actress Bridget Moynahan. These women are no dummies -- ca-ching! (MSNBC)


  • Skidmarks on My Heart: Harlequin and NASCAR jump into bed together for a series of romance novels. Each book comes with a complimentary carton of Marlboros. (NYT)

  • Sun Devils: A double-murder-suicide in an apartment complex near my alma mater involving a psycho boyfriend who got pissed that one of his girlfriend's friends didn't approve of him. Creepy stuff. (AZRepublic)

  • Kiss and Yell: Snickersgate has people wondering if it's safe for two men to kiss in public anywhere. (NYT)


  • New State Motto: New Jersey Is (Now) for (Gay) Lovers. (AP)

  • The Long Goodbye: A memorial tribute to the film director Robert Altman will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at noon at the Majestic Theater, 247 W. 44th St., in Manhattan. Altman died on Nov. 20 at age 81. Among those expected to speak at the tribute are Julianne Moore, Tim Robbins, Harry Belafonte, Kevin Kline, Alan Rudolph, Lily Tomlin and Garry Trudeau. The memorial will be open to the public.

  • RIP: Gay rights pioneer Barbara Gittings has died at the age of 75 after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Gittings first came to the public spotlight in 1965 when she and a handful of gay men and lesbians held demonstrations outside the White House and Independence Hall seeking equal rights for homosexuals. May she rest in peace. (365Gay).

  • RIP: So sorry to hear that Kathy Griffin's cute dad passed away over the weekend. He and his wife are the highlights of Kathy's show and I'm happy that we have one more season to enjoy him. May he rest in peace.

    I didn't really get that kissing story. I've kissed boyfriends on the street in NYC and never heard a peep from anyone. I think by and large it's safe to kiss here, despite the incident cited in the story.

    Looks like that apartment complex was across the street from that movie theater where you worked.
