Page 1 Consider (11/17)

  • Is Bob Woodward the new Judith Miller (only with a Midwest accent that makes him sound mentally retarded?) (LA Times) and (Woodward's explanation doesn't add up via AmericaBlog)

  • Dan Savage goes all NY Times Op-Ed on our asses: Can I Get a Little Privacy? (NYT)

  • Attacks on Gays On the Rise: Months after bashing, Brooklyn man is still struggling to get by (NY Blade)

  • Former 'Desperate Housewives' actor Page Kennedy says he wasn't fired, he just left the series because the producers decided they wanted to "go in a different direction." I've heard that this is true: they wanted to work with an actor who didn't commit lude and lascivious acts on the set. (AP)

  • Vice President Dick Cheney says "The president and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone – but we’re not going to sit by and let them rewrite history. We’re going to continue throwing their own words back at them." OK, first off: STOP SAYING "REWRITE HISTORY"! I cannot take it one more time. You know Karl Rove came up with that one and told Bush and Cheney that if they repeat it enough times the American people will start to believe it. Sadly, he's probably right. Fortunately, West Hollywood's finest Rep. Henry Waxman has nicely outlined 51 times that the Dick-head misled Americans about the war in Iraq. Maybe the Dems can come up with snazzy catchphrase, too.
