I was surprised by how much I enjoyed "Fleishman Is in Trouble," a limited series now airing on Hulu. Maybe I'm just going through Woody Allen withdrawal -- let's be honest, he hasn't made a truly great movie about the Jewish denizens of Upper Manhattan in ages. As always, I believe knowing less going into something is the best way to watch something. But suffice to say this multi-pronged look at middle age and the dissolution of a Gen X marriage -- with stellar performances by Lizzy Caplan and Claire Danes -- is truly special. Bonus points for its soundtrack, including this haunting Bruce cover by Jersey native Nicole Atkins!
