Damian and I stopped playing the "Imagine if [insert Democrat's name here] did/said that" game long ago, because it'll only give you gray hair and does nothing to address the actual root problem.
But hearing frozen-food heiress Tucker Carlson doing it was rich -- and tells you just how ridiculous things are.
“Imagine if Barack Obama had said that,” Carlson said, after Crazy Donald suggested taking guns away from potentially dangerous people before due process. “Just ignore due process and start confiscating guns.”
Carlson (rightly) said Obama would’ve been “denounced as a dictator” for making such a comment. “We would have denounced him first, trust me,” Carlson said. “Congress would be talking impeachment right now. Some would be muttering about secession.”
Uh-huh.
I've spent the past year just trying to live in as much of a bubble as possible given what I do for a living. But while Carlson's "turning" on Crazy Donald doesn't likely signify an overall change in the GOP, I was heartened to learn one thing: Not all internet comments are written by mindless trolls -- how great are these?
