I think he's tremendously talented, really. And obviously, he's lovely to look at (especially scruffy). But he seems caught between wanting to flaunt his body and his looks and then getting upset that people are only talking about his body and his looks.
"We love to hate" . . . "young, good-looking white gay men?" I beg his pardon, but . . . . since when? Granted, a lot of people still hate gay men for reasons I'll never entirely figure out, but "young, good-looking, white?" The world WORSHIPS them. Instead of being glad for the immense amount of popularity he has (for which any number of people would cheerfully give a couple of teeth), nitpicks? It may come as a shock to him, but I and a lot of other people don't have "low expectations" of him--or ANY. There are entire weeks or even months at a time when we don't think about him at all.
