Joe Manganiello's 'Magic' Moment

There's never been a movie that needed a sequel less than "Magic Mike" -- the original felt like a better-than-you-would-expect sequel to begin with -- but with teasers like this, I doubt it'll go limp at the box office.

'Magic' Kingdom

The New York Times wisely let an openly gay reporter -- my pal Erik Piepenburg -- write a story about the undeniable gay appeal of "Magic Mike," where stripper-encrusted parties are going on in movie theaters from coast to coast. (Read HERE.) But I can only assume a straight copy editor was involved in this embarrassing correction. I mean, really: What gay guy can't properly ID Joe Manganiello?

Money Shot

Here's photographic and video proof of what inspired it all. Now who's going to see "Magic Mike" this weekend?

Likin' 'Mike'

The New York Times loved "Magic Mike," but I'm holding off on reviews until I see it this weekend. I will, however, give Matthew McConaughey's outfit two thumbs up.

Matt Bomer Has a Gif for You

'Magic Mike' Premieres in L.A.

All the hunks -- Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe "Big Dick Richie" Manganiello -- turned out for the L.A. premiere of "Magic Mike," Steven Soderbergh's big-screen adaptation of Tatum's youthful career indiscretion. Two people I know have seen it -- one raved, likening it to very early-1970s films, "kind of 'Klute' or "'he Conversation' in terms of its fluidity and off-handedness" and raving "not only a good movie as far as its acting and directorial style go, but pretty hot as well. LOTS of nudity, male and female" while another said it was "curiously unsexy" and that the script was "not a particularly distingquished piece of writing." To each his own. Guess we will all have to suffer through it to decide for ourselves!
