I've never had strong feelings about Maria Sharapova one way or the other -- with the exception of being awestruck watching her blow Serena Williams off the court at Wimbledon all those years ago -- but something about a career Grand Slam this weekend at the French sure feels right. She couldn't ask for a better opening, but with her stubborn one-gear-fits-all game, there's no guaranteeing she can pull it off, despite being the youngest(!) and most experienced(!!) player left in the draw.
