I dig it! I just go along for the fun and I usually find anything SATC pretty fun.
Filming was supposed to be set in Dubai, which apparently turned away the production due to concerns over the word "Sex" in the title. However, Morocco was reportedly used as an alternate location.

It isn't Egypt, it is Morocco. Initially it was supposed to be Dubai but the government wouldn't allow the movie to be shot there.
