WUSA reports that a former Montgomery County, Md., teacher, who also coached boys' lacrosse and football, has been charged with multiple counts of sexual misconduct with one of his eighth-grade students, police said.

Maxwell Bero, 30 -- who was a former Maryland congressional candidate -- taught at Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School from 2013-2016 before transferring to Watkins Mill High School.

Montgomery County Police arrested and charged Bero after discovering multiple inappropriate offenses with a 14-year-old student from August 2014- June 2015.

Police said the interactions occurred after school hours and on school property, with Bero as the student's teacher. The allegations came forward on July 28, and after investigating, officers arrested Bero Aug. 26.

He is charged with sexual abuse of a minor and multiple counts of committing a third-degree sexual offense, Montgomery County Police said. Bero was most recently teaching social studies at Watkins Mill High School in Gaithersburg, but has since been placed on administrative leave.

One of the most stunning allegations: Bero sent the 14-year-old a nude picture of himself from his own bachelor party, according to court records.

On Wednesday, Montgomery County Public Schools sent a statement to parents and students saying the behavior is unacceptable and a breach of their trust.

"These charges are deeply concerning and unacceptable and represent a complete breach of trust, responsibility, integrity and the law," it read. "We hold our employees to a high standard of character and these allegations violate that. Please know that the safety of our students is our top priority and we are committed to ensuring we maintain a safe learning environment for all."

Detectives with Montgomery County Police are worried there might be additional victims. They are urging anyone who might have more information, or who might be a victim, to call their detectives at 240-773-5400.

It's a shame baby face likes to victimize women. Can't imagine many gay guys would mind taking a peek:

Air Force Times:
A Hurlburt Field airman who allegedly exposed himself to a woman at a Florida TJ Maxx store last month was arrested Friday and charged with indecent exposure, according to an arrest report.

Airman 1st Class Michael Leary, 20, followed and watched the victim from various areas of the Fort Walton Beach store, the arrest report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department said.

After the victim headed to the kitchen section, she found Leary -- kneeling on the floor with his pants down in the store’s second aisle, per the report.

“The Defendant had pulled the front of his pants down and had his genitalia fully exposed to her,” the arrest report said. “The Victim left the kitchen area and notified a store employee who contacted law enforcement.”

Leary has since been charged with indecent exposure and was arrested Friday. It’s unclear why Leary was arrested weeks after the incident, which occurred on March 1.

No word about why he has not one but two booking shots.

This is wrong on many levels -- not even counting social-distancing guidelines.

The Miami Herald reports:
Rene Pedrosa, a former TV personality and trusted aide to Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, was jailed after police said he lured a 16-year-old boy to City Hall, groped him and later sent the teen a dick pic on his cellphone. Pedrosa was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on charges of battery and transmitting pornography to a minor. Earlier, Pedrosa, 48, resigned amid the probe, telling his boss, Suarez, that he was being investigated for some type of “personal misconduct,” the mayor said.

Sounds like the young M.D. took "playing doctor" way too far:
Nicholas M. Cox, a 29-year-old third-year resident in emergency medicine, agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was sentenced to six months court supervision on Jan. 22 for showing explicit photos on his phone to two youngsters who were out riding their bikes.
If they were of him, please someone break into the evidence locker and leak -- stat.

How the mighty (hot) have fallen.

Fortunately, it was a sting so nobody was actually harmed.

On the bright side: Think of all the time he'll have to write country songs while he's in the pokey.

Again, I don't mean to be callous in any way. But why do I feel like a gay man would be making a followup appointment rather than filing charges if this guy did something LIKE THIS to him?
