Grindr Goes Pubic -- Public

That it would have seemed comically unimaginable that Grindr would go public even a few years ago (progress) is tempered by the fact that the hookup app -- I mean "dating app specializing in connecting gay, bi, trans and queer users" -- has a bad history, including selling user data through its ad networks, straight ownership who did us a favor by supporting same-sex marriage while "personally" believing that marriage is "a holy union between a man and a woman," as well as a user location triangulation problem, which allowed authorities in Egypt to track and arrest gay men. Here's hoping shareholders push them to do better, although now it will likely only be about the bottom line (pun intended).
