Boy Scouts Lift Ban on Gay Leaders -- Except When They Don't Want To

Not what I thought we were getting here. Mike Signorile explains why this is (obviously) NOT a good solution HERE.

finally! a common sense explanation of what i've been feeling and saying about this announcement, and why it's bad for gays.

the boy scouts are able to win back national funding and endorsements lost due to their bigoted policies, and put an end to any potential discrimination lawsuits, while allowing 70% of scouting chapters sponsored by religious groups to go right on discriminating as they always have - business as usual.

the bsa was able to end all the pressure that brought them to the table, are giving very little in return, and continue to allow an anti-gay religious exemption...deplorable.
