May Day exhibition at Deitch Projects in SoHo, which is doubling as a send-off for art dealer Jeffrey Deitch, who is closing up shop in New York to accept a job as the director of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. In addition to the Blondie singer, who was the subject of one of Fairey's pieces, Russell Simmons, Salman Rushdie, Adrien Brody and Cynthia Rowley were also spotted in the crowd.
