I absolutely loved the first season of "The Disappointments" and have been growing impatient waiting for more. Luckily, we're getting closer.

For those in the City of Angels: You can attend the world premiere of season 2 of Rich Burns's ode to gays of a certain age and help raise money to support the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Senior Services

Wednesday, Sept. 25
6 - 9 p.m. PDT

Location:
Los Angeles LGBT Center
1118 North McCadden Place

For the rest of us, however, it sounds like Burns is still looking for a distributor. If you can help, please contact him on Instagram HERE.

Remains of the Day (09/13)

Hot Cat of the Day: Your Uber has arrived

Question: Does anyone know why THIS Morning Wood from 2017 has recently become one of my most popular posts ever? It has no text or other identifying characteristics, so I'm not even sure how people are finding it.

Stereogum: A bunch of legendary musicians recently convened in London’s Konk Studios for a mysterious new project. Courtney Love (Hole), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine), Adrian Utley (Portishead), and Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey) were “covering Marianne Faithfull songs,” Googe wrote on Instagram. The multi-instrumentalist and producer Ben Christophers also shared a post, describing the get-together as “an amazing experience in the merging of music and film.. Don’t want to say much more but you’ll find out soon enough.”
