Tom Swelling?
Either I really am the chubby chaser my boyfriend claims I am or people are losing their minds, but these photos are being circulated around the blogosphere with everyone claiming that the Superman star Tom Welling is looking perhaps "not-so-Smallville" and "a little bit on the chunky side." And even the ever-diplomatic Trent (Pink Is the New Blog) was wondering if our modern-day Clark Kent was holding a pizza box rather than a laptop because "it looks like Tom is very familiar with pizza boxes." Ouch. We should all be as "fat" as sexy Tom.Wednesday, January 29, 2025

But major props to Jon Beavers (as Yank), Harrison Tipping and the rest of the cast for bringing depth and humanity to the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of "The Hairy Ape," a bleak portrait of a man whose strength is useless against a world that he is convinced sees him as "less than." Tickets HERE.

TV Guide Brings Sexy Back
Patrick Dempsey is TV Guide's Sexy Issue cover man.
McDreamy and uber-hot Justin Chambers of "Grey's Anatomy" show off their guns.
TV's hottest pretty boys, Tom Welling of "Smallville" and Skeet Ulrich -- looking like Andrew Shue in his "Melrose Place" heyday -- of "Jericho."
Minka Kelly sure isn't a guy, but she's definitely one of the sexiest people on television, as is her "Friday Night Lights" bad boy Taylor Kitsch.
Dave Annable makes me want to watch "Brothers & Sisters."
Josh Holloway of "Lost" is Sex on a Beach.
Ugly Betty's not-so-ugly boss, Eric Mabius.
Hot Stuff: Shemar Moore of "Criminal Minds" and David Boreanaz of "Bones."
Another helping of Skeet and Anne Heche's latest find, James Tupper.(All photos via TV Guide.)

Skinny-Dipping With Tom Welling
Damn The WB for being so good at editing, but if you watch the short, unaired "Smallville" clip above you can see BOTH of Superman's best ASS-ets in all their glory. (I think we all remember what one of his BIG strengths looked like packed into his britches. Now we get to see it FLY free!)
The edited-but-still-great-for-so-many-other-reasons version is below.

Super Bulge
Is that kryptonite in your pants or are you just happy to see me?
I don't know about you, but I never tire of seeing Tom Welling's super hero bounce around in his pants when he runs ...
Watching him SKINNY DIP is fun, too!

CW Post
I'm not sure what shows any of them are on, but there's no question that CW network has the best-looking guys on television, as seen at last night's upfront party at Abe & Arthur's in New York City:

Dream Porn: Ian Somerhalder, Robert Buckley and Tom Welling

Kristoffer Polaha

Chace Crawford

Shane West

Super Daddy
Tom Welling is about to star in yet another show I won't watch, but by all means keep these grown-up photos coming! I've been in lust ever since I saw him go SKINNY DIPPING.

Chris Pine: The Bulge Files
I suppose it's kind of creepy that someone made a YouTube video featuring as many close-ups of "Star Trek" hottie Chris Pine's crotch as he could find. Yet strangely, I'm not complaining. (Via Tabloid Prodigy)
Of course, Chris has nothing on Tom Welling's Clark Kent, whose SUPER BULGE looks awfully good, especially when he's moving faster than a speeding bullet ...
UPDATE: Here's a follow-up on Chris Pine:

Kenneth in the (212) Turns 20
Hard to fathom that when I spontaneously opened up a Blogspot template on Sept. 4, 2005, and wrote a short post late at night after watching Robby Ginepri beat Tommy Haas at the U.S. Open that I would be still be blogging two decades later ... yet here we are!
Thanks to everyone who has come along for the ride, which certainly has exceeded my wildest expectations. (God knows it's always been for the love of it, with what little advertising revenue some of us once earned long since evaporated thanks to Facebook and Google.)
Along the way my site has allowed me to make numerous new friends -- some famous, some infamous, and some just tremendous -- get invited to countless parties, screenings, movie premieres, book releases, theatrical productions and more; achieve my dream of writing a book of essays after being "discovered" by a noted agent; and best of all even land a husband!
In an attempt to remember what I looked like at the time, I dug up these these photos from 2005 -- the Hamptons, a Go-Go's concert, Miami. WeHo and Venus diner -- all of which made the blog!
Life has also had its somber moments over the years -- we buried our father; my best friend in town died suddenly months after I started my blog; I got and lost a dream job or two; I've said goodbye to two very special critters (Troy and Larry); and my brother Bill was taken way too soon -- so logging on here each day has been a source of stability when other things have felt out of control. (See also: World, The.)
While I don't have a timeline for how much longer I will digitally be Kenneth in the (212), for now I'll share with you my 10 most popular posts (out of more than 39,000) -- some expected, some not -- as I say cheers to 20 years. I wouldn't have done it without you! xo
