Funny Ladies

Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobsen are saving comedy one raucous adventure at a time.

Maybe a tad hyperbolic there. (The season premiere was kinda weak, which has me worried that the novelty has worn off.) But I am a huge fan of them both -- and the article is by my pal Mike Albo, who is every bit as funny as they are!

My Kind of 'Broad'

Hillary Clinton just HAS to be our next president. About the only way her visit to the set of (hilarious) "Broad City" could be better would be if I didn't have to look at Amy Poehler's face ...

'Broad' Appeal

"Broad City" creators and stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson cover New York mag's best-of New York issue. Bummed to see the upcoming episode is already the season finale. Sure, it's been (another) uneven batch of episodes, but it's still one of the funniest things on television these days. Read the story HERE.

'Broad City' Season 2 Trailer Is Here

Not a huge fan of pot humor, but Abbi and Ilana are my girls, so I'm ready for season 2 nonetheless

'Broad' Reaction

Anybody check "Broad City" out yet? Never saw it when it was a web series, but have seen a few episodes since it moved to Comedy Central. It's weird -- it's one of the most consistently uneven things I've ever seen. One scene I will be howling, think it's the best thing ever. Then the next scene I will be shocked at how appallingly unfunny it is.\

"Broad City," created by UCB alums Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and produced by Amy Poehler, is an odd-couple comedy about two best friends navigating their twenties in New York City. Abbi and Ilana are broke and flawed, and they don’t shy away from the sticky situations NYC throws at them -- they dive right into the muck. But no matter how bad it gets, these young broads are always down with whatever hits them.
