Morning Wood: Matthew Fox

Here's a sneak peek at the March issue of GQ featuring "Lost" hunk Matthew Fox.
Even back in the '90s when everyone was swooning over Bailey Salinger on "Party of Five," I only had eyes for big brother Charlie ...

Total Fox

The new Details arrived yesterday and cover man Matthew Fox sure is looking hot as ever. I've never seen "Lost" (not my kind of show) and I didn't even watch "Party of Five" back in the day, although I was keenly aware of its stars. I remember always being the odd gay out when everyone was lusting after Bailey (Scott Wolf) and I was always saying, "No way. The older brother is the hot one." I think time has proven me correct, although I will admit I raced out to see "White Squall" the Friday it opened in 1996. As I recall, every fag in the DC metro area was in that AMC Courthouse Theatre that night. But again Scott was upstaged, that time by very young Ryan Phillippe. (Young Balthazar Getty and Jeff Bridges were pretty hot, too.)

Fox and Friends

Matthew Fox visits the "Late Show with David Letterman" at the Ed Sullivan Theater this week in New York City. They don't get any more handsome than this one.

    Fun 'Couples' at the Emmys

With the visibility of same-sex couples at an all time high at this year's Emmy Awards -- Neil Patrick Harris/David Burtka and Jane Lynch/Lara Embry shining the brightest with three trophies between them -- you gotta figure Rock Hudson is taking a break from having sex with hundreds of young studs somewhere to look down and smile. But as great as our award-winning gays were, here are a few of my other fave "duos" from the night:

"Bosom Buddies" reunion: Tom Hanks and Holland Taylor

This'll Work: Scott Bakula and Joel McHale -- one for sex, one for laughs

Lose That Hubby: Alexander Skarsgard and Anna Paquin

Party of Two: Matthew Fox and Eric Stonestreet

Mad Women: January Jones and Christina Hendricks

The only thing thinner than Lea Michele these days is Chris Colfer's voice

Mad About You: Jon Hamm and non-wife Jennifer Westfeldt

The perpetually hot Dennis Quaid and ... well, who really cares?

Kiss and Make Up: Jane and Matthew Morrison

    High Flying, Adored

If I was at all defensive about admitted that I love "Wings" better than all the classic '90s sitcoms, seeing a young Matthew Fox pop up as a star high school baseball player -- whom Helen shamelessly lusts after(!) -- completely convinced me I was right!

    Tickle-Me-Jake

Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman, Matthew Fox and Michelle Obama are all slated to appear on "Sesame Street" this year, to help celebrate the show's 40th season. Sounds like a lot fun (I certainly don't remember the neighborhood being littered with hunks when I was a kid. I mean really, Mr. Hooper??) Note to Elmo: if Jakey wants to play campout in the pup tent, but all means say yes.

    Three Men in a Boat

Matthew Fox is flanked by soccer star Luis Figo and Eric Dane all looking good during a commercial shoot in Portofino, Italy, on Monday. Whatever they're selling, I'm buying.

    Remains of the Day (12/21)

Conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell was at White House Sunday night for ‘none of your business’ meeting about  overturning election

Finally, SOME sort of accountability. Newsmax, too

Romney isn’t there yet, but he should consider a new party

Trump's biggest sycophant appears to have had enough:  'There's no need for a special counsel for Hunter Biden or the election -- and Russia did the hacking'

Fred Wellman: Clay...you're a member of the Homeland Security Committee so let's make this clear. You are treading dangerously close to sedition and incitement of violence. You want to play these cute games...keep going. But fuck around and find out how that will go.

Bruno Amato: If Dems ran the Senate, Americans would have received their 6th stimulus check for $2000 by now ... and reversed the GOP Tax Scam to pay for it.

Coalition of Black pastors slam Loeffler campaign ads as a 'broader attack against the Black Church'

'SNL' mocks Pence as 'the guy who let Covid spread everywhere'

Matthew Rettenmund: Anyone who leaves their family for Martin Shkreli deserves to have him drop her like a hot potato.

Reminder: 30 days until our nation's long nightmare is over
