Breaking Wind

What the hell? This the second fart-in-the-face assault story in 24 hours. Watch your brussels sprouts intake, lovers!

Via Daily Mail:
Raymond Boyer, known as "Gay Ray" to Barack Obama and his pot-smoking "Choom Gang," had his brains beaten out with a hammer on Honolulu, Hawaii, seven years after he supplied the future president and his friends with drugs. His lover Andrew Devere, a male prostitute, (bottom right) told the police he did it for a variety of reasons, including that Boyer, a surfer and unemployed chef, constantly put him down and had a habit of breaking wind in his face. Obama thanked Ray for the "good times" in his yearbook (left).

Suspect in Attack on Gay Journalist Randy Gener Arrested in New York

Great work, NYPD.

The New York Daily News reports:
Cops collared a man they say pummeled an award-winning journalist in Midtown earlier this month. Leighton Jennings, 24, was arrested for second-degree assault late Tuesday — more than a week after Randy Gener, 46, was attacked on Seventh Ave. near W. 54th St. on Jan. 17, cops said. It was not immediately clear how cops identified Jennings — of St. Albans, Queens — as the suspect wanted for the brutal beatdown. A police source said investigators found no evidence suggesting it was a bias attack, and that the fight apparently stemmed from an argument after Gener and Jennings' gal pal bumped into each other on the street. Jennings was waiting to be arraigned Wednesday as Gener, a Filipino-American editor, writer and artist, remained in critical condition at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. His mother, Ellen Wilson, said she came home from work just in time to see her son getting led out of their home in handcuffs.

'Looking' for Trouble

Yeah, I'd have to agree with all you guys who say HBO's "Looking" is boring and is playing it "too safe." Only 38 sex scenes in two episodes. My life is WAAAAAAAY more exciting -- and I'm sure yours is, too.

Song of the Day: 'Boy Who Cried' by The Style Council

Wonderfully understated single from the band's sophomore album, "Our Favourite Shop." Listen for the great Tracie Young on backing vocals. She'd just released her debut solo album the year before after having sung on the Jam's "Beat Surrender" farewell.
