Gregory Harrison Is a Lover and a 'Fighter'

It's a good thing Gregory Harrison's 1983 TV flick "The Fighter" (aka "The Fighting Chance") wasn't a miniseries, because I'd have certainly exceeded doctors' four-hour "warning." I tried to get some screen grabs for you but alas my computer won't let me do it while playing the DVD on my laptop (the film's not available streaming anywhere -- anyone know a workaround?), but I did find this poster on eBay, below, so you can see what I was "dealing" with. (I'm telling you, he's so hot it's painful to watch.) In the process, I also came across this photo of Gregory on "Battle of the Network" stars, which may also be the death of me.

One more Speedo shot just to rub it in HERE.

UPDATE: Thirty-six screen grabs from "The Fighter" HERE.

For Ladies (and Certain Gentlemen) Only

Here's Playgirl's piece on Gregory Harrison's piece when "For Ladies Only" came out . Pictures from the made-for-TV sensation are widely available on the 'Net, but I'm posting this because I know so many of you are only interested in the article. Says Harrison of the role that made him a gay icon: "I know 'For Ladies Only' could easily be seen as nothing more than an exploitative film that would garner huge ratings based solely on the fact that Gonzo gets naked; but it’s vrey important to me that everything I do has a moral purpose and isn't just pap." (Well, there is a moral, but I'm afraid it's more than a bit pap: the moral being that ripped abs are the way to a gay's, uh, heart.) He goes on to say: "Having experienced this and come away a little more sensitive about it -- being judged by the size of my muscles, the shade of my tan, the size of my penis instead of my heart and mind -- this story touched me on that level." Stay tuned: I'm still searching the archives for the Christopher Atkins story about his turn as Ricky the Rocket in "A Night in Heaven." UPDATE: Chris Atkins' stripper movie and his Playgirl spread are HERE. Gregory Harrison naked is HERE.

Patti Reagan's motto after working with Gregory? Just say blow.
