As someone who works for the public who is also a performer... I don't think the speedo itself was the issue here. How sexual did his playing get, especially in front of students? I don't doubt that he was trying to be funny, which usually leads to people being uncomfortable, mostly because they don't know what he's going to do next (as he strayed from the agreed costume). In the work place, one must be very careful with anything of a sexual nature (playful or not) AND this is in Utah! That said, he can play my Frog Prince any day!
Ridiculous! The people who took that decision should go to any beach ANYWHERE in europe. Speedos are normal beach attire - and definitely not a reason to take such action.
I have to agree with Danny in WeHo. It sounds to me as if it's not the green speedo per se, but that the person representing police authority to the school did an impromptu striptease and engaged in suggestive behavior with minors present during school hours. If this party had happened at a club or private home among adults I don't think there would be an issue, but dude was supposed to be representing the police department in a professional manner and instead publicly embarrassed it.
This one is now tied as my most-viewed Morning Wood with DANNY JONES .

Are talking wet Speedo here?
I've never seen a frog wearing anything, they should be happy he wore a speedo.
