Lady Godiva never looked this good. And speaking of Chad White, Michael and I saw him walking in the West Village over the weekend. I was so stunned that I didn't even have time to try to stalk him. Then last night Michael and I were having dinner at Veselka in the East Village when Matt Dillon(!) walked by with some blonde pushing a bike. Model Wood: Chad White
He's fresh, excitingWell, here's a photo of studly Chad White that you probably won't find in his book. It seems long before he became a hotshot over at Major Model Management here in the city, he was the quintessential boy-next-door doing back-to-school ads for places like Fred Meyer, a hypermarket headquartered in Portland, Ore. It seems this strapping young man caught the eye of a KIT212 reader way back in 2004 so he scanned newspaper insert for posterity. He says he only recently -- while searching through some old pics on his computer -- realized who it was. Very cute! (Thanks, Richard!)

Sightings in the (212)
Michael and I saw Ralph Fiennes strolling arm-in-arm with a pretty African-American gal on 8th Avenue near 14th Street on Saturday night. Then last night we saw a hurried CHAD WHITE walking down the exact same block. We were standing there talking to a friend when we spotted the dreamy model and quickly went into stalker mode following him around the corner onto 14th Street where we (all but) chased him till he put on the brakes in front of the hipster, faux-London club Norwood. I was this close to asking for a photo with him when he saw the friend he was meeting and went running up the stairs of the 1845 townhouse, at which point we were just left with the memory. He looks every bit as hot in person -- very tall, very lean and very handsome.

My friend Shannon saw Mary Louise Parker while waiting in line at the Shake Shack over the weekend ("She didn't even try to cut the line."). Following the news that "Celebrity Rehab" and "Real World: Hollywood" participant Joey Kovar will be posing for Playgirl's March issue, comes a report from Boy Culture Matt that an "iconic, A-list male supermodel" is, in fact, March's cover man -- not Kovar. Speculation is already running rampant as to who the mystery man is -- Tyson Beckford? Chad White? J.P. Calderon? -- but seeing as there is no such thing as a "male supermodel," I'd have to guess the closest anyone ever came (Marcus Schenkenberg) or the one that should've been (Michael Bergin).
