Titles for Hurkacz, Zheng, Pegula and Fernandez. Plus two weeks' worth of ATP beef -- including MAGA pinup Christian Harrison's foray into OnlyFans territory -- BELOW.
The week in review:
Hubert Hurkacz captured his second ATP Masters 1000 title in dramatic fashion on Sunday at the Rolex Shanghai Masters, where he saved one match point to defeat Andrey Rublev 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(8).
Can't help but noticing the big Pole is really growing into his looks
... and by looks I mean hot body.
Who knew being pigeon-toed could be so sexy?
The thrill of victory ...
The agony of defeat
Chinese No. 1 Zheng Qinwen rallied to beat seventh-seeded Barbora Krejcikova 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 to win the Zhengzhou Open for her second career title. Was thrilled for her, but am I the only one recuperating from her "singing" debut? (Loose translation: "Yes, Peng Shuai is in labor camp now, being re-educated.")
Jessica Pegula beat Yuan Yue 6-2, 6-3 in the final of the Korea Open on Sunday for the fourth title of her career, before noting something many tennis fans don't realize: "My mom is Korean and she was adopted from here, so it's really special to be able to win here. In the last few years, as my ranking has gone up, I've definitely felt so much more support from the fans, a lot more than I expected coming back here from five years ago. So it's really special."
Canada's Leylah Fernandez came from a set down to defeat Katerina Siniakova 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 to win the Hong Kong Tennis Open. The victory is the 21-year-old's first title of the 2023 season and third of her career.
And last week, second-ranked Iga Swiatek won the China Open final with a near-perfect 6-2, 6-2 victory over Liudmila Samsonova on Sunday for her tour-leading fifth title of the season.

Juan may have nothing to do with tennis anymore beyond having the word "court" in his name. But that doesn't mean I still won't post him.
Czech cutie Tomas Machac is definitely one to keep an eye on, and not just because of the way he looks

Constant craving: Lestienne wins another Challenger
New favorite player alert: Hendrik Jebens
On the plane home from Amsterdam I was finally able to see one (of three) part of the BBC tennis special -- the one focused on Martina Navratilova. Chris Evert, of course, is a big part of it -- my favorite section being when John Lloyd discusses his relationship with the Ice Maiden during which he described himself as a "British tennis pinup." (Fair enough!)
And all these years later, Norrie, Draper and Broady are following in his footsteps!
And some might say the Murray brothers, too.

The Challenger last week was in my home town I couldn't find any of them around town. Christian, Vasek, Steve, etc didn't post any stories of them going to Target or Dave & Busters, not much to do here.
