Tempted by the Fruit of Another

There are already Web sites listing the names of sex offenders, so I guess it should come as no surprise that a new site lists the names of those pesky two-timing Romeos of the world.

On dontdatehimgirl.com: Women bent on revenge — and on saving others from their fate — can anonymously post their dating horror stories on the 2-month-old site, complete with names and pictures. They can also check the database of cheaters for a suspected player.

Launched in late July with 15 alleged Casanovas, the site now boasts more than 100 cheaters, and draws some 2,500 hits daily. They include Jude Law and — perhaps more relevant to the average New York dater — a number of men from the local area.

Most of the postings warn women that a supposedly single man is actually married — but some give a little extra information. "He wasn't even worth the five minutes he lasted in bed," seethes one vigilante.

Can a gay Version 2.0 — dontdatehimguy.com — be far behind? I sure could have used something like this back when I was in college; it might have prevented me from walking in on my first love, Derek Beach, doinking Fred Takaguchi in my own bed. (Wow! This really works: I feel better already!) Adiosu.
