Transgender Woman Says TSA Denigrated Her

I feel for this this woman, who says she was harassed and detained for 40 minutes because her groin area showed a suspicious package as she was scanned by TSA at Orlando International Airport, causing her to miss her flight.

The New York Times reports:

Mara Keisling, the executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, said Tuesday that many transgender people face no-win situations while flying: Those who do not want to go through the scanners are subjected to a lengthy private screening process, and those who opt for the scanners end up facing similar treatment if they are flagged by the devices. “Most Americans would be totally freaked out” if they knew how invasive the process is, Ms. Keisling said.

Morrissey Says TSA Grabbed His C**k at SF Airport

 This meme popped up just days after Morrissey alleged the TSA grabbed his junk -- aka sexually assaulted him -- at San Francisco International Airport. At the risk of sounding like Donald Trump, I'm sure some agents are good people.

But when you have a job that attracts a certain type of power-hungry personality and combine it with the fact that some abuse their power and apparently most do not even do their job sufficiently, isn't it time to rethink the whole process?
